Now let’s fast forward a few years. My mom also worked in the practice as a dental hygienist, and she would pick my brother and I up from school some days and bring us to the office to play in the waiting room until she and my dad were done with work. We must have been 5 or 6 then. I remember I loved being there. I felt like part of the team. When I was 8 years old, I decided I wanted to be an Orthodontist. I saw the lifestyle my parents had, and I thought it seemed great! By age 14 I was working in the practice at the front desk, and I started to really get to know the patients. I learned who their family members were, what their hobbies were, I heard about their life events, and they became like family to me. I continued to work there in the summers until I started dental school. While in school I found my passion for cosmetic dentistry and decided not to go into Orthodontics, but instead to join my father and pursue general dentistry. I started managing the practice pretty much right away and 7 years later we decided it was time for me to buy the practice. So, In January 2022 I became the proud owner of Levy Goldman Dentistry.

FOUNDER, GENERAL DENTIST

Dr. Danny Levy

Dr. Danny Levy is a longtime Peabody resident. He graduated with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery from New York University dental school in 1986. Dr. Levy first practiced in a multidisciplinary group practice in Worcester, and subsequently in Peabody. In 1991, he opened his own practice in Peabody where he established himself as a general dentist, serving the dental needs of the community, from the very young to the elderly. His practice grew rapidly primarily through word-of-mouth referrals from patients who appreciated his caring approach and a light touch.

Dr. Levy was voted ‘Favorite Dentist’ by the readers of the Peabody/Lynnfield newspaper, was named in the ‘Boston Area’s Top Dentist’ list in the Boston Consumers’ Checkbook magazine and is a recipient of the ‘Gatehouse Media Reader’s Choice Award’. Dr. Levy is also a member of the American Dental Association, the North Shore District Dental Society, and the Massachusetts Dental Society. In his spare time he loves being active, whether it be biking, snowboarding, windsurfing, or walking the beach!

HYGIENIST

Lauren

Lauren earned her Associate degree in dental hygiene from Forsythe school of dental hygiene in 1994 and her Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene from Northeastern University in 1998. She has been with the practice for over seven years.

Other than her passion for dental hygiene and making patients feel at ease during dental cleanings, Lauren enjoys outdoor adventures, photography, and spending time with her two sons and dog Zuko.

LEAD DENTAL ASSISTANT

Jessica

Jessica started working for the Levys’ back in 2014 and has been enjoying her journey in the industry. She graduated from Everest Institute in 2012 and obtained her x-ray certification at Boston University. She is certified in CPR and a Licensed Dental Assistant. She has been assisting with Dr. Naomi on all kinds of fun and exciting treatments and is an expert in fabricating appliances and performing all whitening in our office.

In her spare time, you can find her spending time with her dog Max, fishing, making jewelry, playing and planning pranks, cooking and baking, and doing whatever the day may have in store for her. As the practice expands, she looks forward to growing with the practice and expanding her knowledge.

TREATMENT COORDINATOR

Dottie

Dottie joined the team in November 2019, and has come to our office with over 15 years of dental office reception experience.

Her attention to detail and lively personality have been a welcomed asset to our team. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two dogs, and her twin grandsons Benson & Levi.

INSURANCE COORDINATOR

Kathy

Kathy Murtagh serves as our Insurance and Billing coordinator and has worked in the dental field for many years. She truly cares about each of our patients and meticulously reviews each of their dental plans to determine their coverage.

She works to ensure each of our patients are receiving the maximum benefits allowed in their policy and that they are being accurately billed for their treatments. Kathy has a wealth of industry knowledge and thoroughly loves being a part of the Levy Goldman Dentistry team. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandson Will and granddaughter Madelyn.
